Cutting Edge Kitchen Helper from Edge of Belgravia

My work eats up most of my time so housekeeping and cooking meals are often left to trusted house helpers.  Once in a while though, I do get a break for work and I’m able to whip up dishes for my family.

The hardest part of cooking for me is all the chopping, slicing, and dicing.  Prepping the ingredients take much more effort than cooking the food itself.  And so, when I got the Ceramic Onyx vegetable chopper from the Edge of Belgravia, I did not waste any time putting it to the test.

According to the product package, the Onyx Santoku is a razor-sharp knife that is designed to efficiently slice fresh vegetables and fish.  It claims that its ceramic blade can last years without requiring sharpening – this, of course, remains to be seen.  From the feel of the knife, I knew that I was in for a different experience in the kitchen.

True enough, the Ceramic Onyx vegetable chopper was so easy to use.  It was balanced enough to make the chopping and slicing movements more convenient.

I made Potatoes au Gratin and Pot Roast Beef, so there was a lot of knife work involved.  My arms did not feel heavy at all after the prep work and my veggies were perfectly sliced.

Clean-up is also not a problem since it washes quite easily too.  With less effort on the prep work, cooking is definitely made more enjoyable for me.  Making Chicken Pot Pie for lunch will most likely be a cinch.

This knife comes from a line of engineered chef’s knives made from a company based in Belgravia, London.  The design team of this company really pulled all the stops to come up with this wonderful culinary tool that makes cooking a more satisfying and enjoyable experience.  Aside from ceramic knives, this manufacturer also makes Damascus knives.

If there is something that makes me feel like a gourmet chef right in my kitchen, it’s this Ceramic Onyx vegetable chopper – it’s like I’m one of those celebrity chefs expertly chopping up their ingredients on TV.  I definitely feel honored to be the owner of one of only 999 Ceramic Onyx knives produced for this limited edition series.

I wish I can have that type of knife for my family when I prepare our foods.

I’d love to try a ceramic knife – I’ve heard the edge sharpness last much longer than traditional knives. I’ll have a look-see at Belgravia.
